This morning I was chatting with @CallieSimms (yes over the phone!) who I met through Twitter and ironically we were discussing business ethics in the adult industry. Callie wrote a few blog posts about this topic as well as how to “break” into the adult industry.
As she says, this is not a secret society and if you want to get into the adult industry business, then conduct yourself just like you would for a mainstream business. Don’t call women-owned adult businesses thinking you are going to pick us up and don’t act like a laughing fool. Be professional!

After much discussion between Ralph and myself, as well as speaking to other collegues in the Adult SEO industry, I think PB Vixen will be making an appearance at the AEE 2009.
We know it is a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect to others in the adult industry as well as have a pretty rockin’ time! Not sure of all the details yet but the plan is to attend all the days as a vendor since we are very involved in the adult online industry. Connecting using the online social media sites can bring a wealth of information. Sites like Facebook, Stumble Upon and Twitter allows you to connect with others throughout the world and in the adult industry.
This week, one of our Twitter friends posted a link to a Google article about “What’s an SEO?” The article discussed if Google recommends using an SEO.
A few main points mentioned in the Google SEO article are:
1) Be weary of any company or SEO consultant who makes a guarantee,
2) If you receive an email out of the blue about your site and its ranking from a so-called SEO company, approach this as the same as the email about “How you won a million dollars,
3) If you ask questions and the SEO is being secretive, this should raise a red flag,
4) You should NEVER have to link to an SEO.
